I know at least if your educational discounts still work, going to the "Special Products" page can net you iWork for like $45. Don't know if that still applies, as I am now too manly for office software.

This is good news for me as well. Especially since I won't be around to wait for the Apple Store to get in 13 inch cases. I'll have to check it out, and $40 isn't shabby at all!

I think I may stock up on U of T memorabilia now that I'm done with the damned place... :P

Oh pray tell me that you have good news about my letter? *hopeful eyes* And are you still ok for a visit from me tomorrow?

I did visit the office at arround 3:30-4PM but alas, no letter with your name on it was to be found :(

I would suggest raiding your Peace by Peace curriculum book for a phone number or something to contact whoever is in charge of the reference letters personally.

Why don't you buy your RAM somewhere else (a computer store) and install it? I think it'll be cheaper to buy it from an Apple store.

I know all their markups.

I'd definitely buy RAM elsewhere if I were upgrading to the 2GB, but to upgrade to the 1GB would be about the same price I think.

Thanks for the update Matt. I still like the case I already picked out, which is available from the Apple Store website, and I'm going to check out Yorkdale tomorrow. I don't know if I'm willing to wait, but it's an option.
