I've been trying as of late, to be a little more productive on the home front seeing as how much of Cesar's spare time is now spent on various assigments. A package of ready-bake lasagna noodles has been calling me name for quite some time, so I took the initiative this afternoon to do some grocery shopping for all the ingredients I would need to ( Read more... )

deal, mi amigo.
...did you hear about the iTunes Japan site opening? You can't order with a credit card that doesn't have a Japanese address, but you can order with gift cards that I presume can be easily found and purchased there, and used internationally.

An hour? The only time I've ever needed more than 30 minutes to assemble a lasagna was the time I made the pasta from scratch and had to keep running it through the pasta press.

Yeah... my skills with a knife are laughable at best. They really should sell assortedly finely chopped vegetables so I don't end up earning additional battle scars everytime I try to do something to convince Cesar I'm worth putting up with. I haven't had past with pesto and toasted pine nuts for some time, maybe I'll try that next.

Mmmmm... just reading that was delicious. (Remember I'm starving.) Am I to assume you baked the chocolate chips into the lasagna?? I've never made lasagna before that wasn't frozen first. I gotta try it out sometime (maybe without the chocolate though, hehe).

Martha Stewart just an anxiety attack wherever she is at the moment *laughs* I think it's actually less expensive to buy a pre-made lasagna than to make it yourself (I thought convenience was supposed to cost extra!) but I guess you never know what the quality of the ingredients are unless you opt for the uber expensive pre-made ones. Either way, yumminess to the moon!
