It's good to hear from you matt. Sorry I'm a sucky friend who doesn't use a phone and is afraid of leaving the basement.
Also I'm sorry to hear about your father. I remember water gun fights at his place and playing a bit of lacrosse. I remember thinking it funny how tough he was on you guys with lacrosse because neither of you were the sporty type. If you look hard enough though you can tell the difference between somebody who is malicious and somebody who cares enough to teach and he was definitely the latter type. Anyways, my condolences.
I never really did have the competitive edge that would have been necessary to continue hockey/lacrosse past the age of 13 or so. I remember Karate lessons being enough to induce nausea.
No apologies necessary... for various reasons of my own I have opted in the past few years to become more and more of a recluse, preferring the creature comforts of my own apartment most evenings.
Not quite sure where I am where my father is concerned. I would have very much appreciate the opportunity to make peace with him before he passed.
