I called my sister today to ask if she wanted to come over. As soon as she answers the phone she says that she was thinking about me. At Dan's house there's another house at the bottom of their driveway where two brothers (that are friends of Dan's) rent. Roger and Ray. This morning, early, Ray was killed in a motorcycle accident. Oh, my goodness. I'm so sorry to hear that. What horrible news to have to deal with--for everyone involved. Even if you never really "knew" Ray... man, that's tough

Thank you very much. And I'm sorry about your friend. I really appreciate you helping me feel better about the situation. It's true that even meeting someone is an experience. And the situation is truly surreal. It's strange because there are some people that I have no reaction to even if I know them sort of. And then there are some other people that I feel horrible about. I don't know if it has anything to do with how the news is delivered to me
