Ugh honey that sucks. Is there any way you can change your living arrangements to make them more affordable? Like moving into a houseshare or getting someone else to move in to share the rent? I know your pad is wonderful but there must be some area you can make big cuts in? The main thing is you ripped off the plaster, so to speak... you looked at your accounts, you did your sums, you didn't let it get any more out of hand.... now you can begin to solve it. i would love to pay some more visits to your place on weekends. we can have cheap eves in with wine and dvds and go for wanders/drives about! :) x

Yay! More Brathers time would be amazing!! If I don't get DVD renting for my birthday though I won't have any DVDs to watch, and wine might be out of reach as well for a while. Ha such a freakin' pauper. Oh - mind I always just get emo DVDs right, so err you probably need to bring DVDs with you whatever happens! I know you like the cheerful films and music. xxx

Ohhh rubbish! I feel bad for you. I curse money frequently! I am not really that bad with money but I find it fully gutting when the things I want (rarely material goods!) are out of reach due to financial restrictions.

I too probably need to make "cut backs", but I can't quite bear to do it yet.
