incidentally, i'm in a bad mood in general. and i don't think -you're- scum i think the fact that you get $20/hr to do shit i could do if'n i was a fucking cpsc major is bullshit and what's more i think you are hella overpaid, asshole employers of yours. anyhow. it's really not specifically personal. no more than usual.
Although the development job isn't going to be. It's gona be hard. (well at least untill I master all the skills and languages I need) I'm pretty good at c++, but not quite good enough I think, plus I have to learn ASP, JavaScript and other stuff to.
Although, why does the fact that I am lucky enough to have a job that pays well annoys you so much. (and I do mean lucky I don't feel entitled or anything. If I was realy skilled I would but I'm not yet.)
anyway counter rant I don't mean to be ofensive or anything

I dont get why this burns your ass so much either. I dont have ANY tech degree and I am probably one of the highest paid techies in Cepheid. No one tied your hands behind your back and forced you to get a degree with few options for earning a living post college. I am not saying they dont have value, but lets not tilt at windmills here. The world puts value where it sees something MADE or CREATED. The soft and social sciences dont impress many coporations or agencies at a under grad level. If you want to be someone in the eyes of the world going this path you are looking a long academic career with a ton of post gradute work and research. You choose the long road, dont be angry at those of us who went out to be the tinkers and the builders. If you want to change the world thats your perogative, and thats the real pay back for taking the longer road. The chance to change the world, to push back the envelope of understanding what it means to be human. But thats pay back for the 1 in 10000 who stick with it. There are a lot of

Before you go off assuming shit about my choices and my anger, why don't you fucking take a step back and say what you had to say without your patting and pandering. Fuck you for thinking I'm bitter. Fuck you for thinking I want to change shit. Fuck you for thinking I chose not to be a tinker.
I'm going to tinker, thanks so fucking much. I had no desire to sit behind a computer all day for the rest of my fucking life. All you needed to say is that they pay a fuck load more for full timers, and that it's not about the supply and demand most people claim it is.
Why don't you fuck off and leave us young'uns to shout at each other with Daddy coming in to drop his shit wisdom turds on the floor, okay? It already stinks.

Your still not getting it. Its totally about supply and demand that determines the value of employees. There are a ton of factors that go into it, but at its heart is the simple concept of the market supporting what the consumer will pay.
As to my wisdom, its a free country chickadee... If you dont like it, you can avoid the comment. We dont see eye to eye all the time, but I am not going to censor myself for your comfort, if you dont like what I am posting maybe its time to consider what about it pisses you off so much.
