50 degrees is not that bad. It's been about 35 - 40 here, and I'm usually in a plain pair of pants and a thin sweater. It depends on what you're used to, but I wouldn't recommend the parka route. Just some gloves if you do get cold easily. WHEN YOU VISIT ME, IT'LL BE ABOUT 70 ALL THE TIME. WITH A NICE OCEAN BREEZE. <3

SEE. I knew my aunt was overpacking, gah. I can probably get by with a thicker jacket and jeans and a few t-shirts. I am used to 80-ish weather, though, but blah.

The joys of packing. How I'll ever decide what bag to hand carry, I don't know.

Since it's for a week, definitely don't worry. I was here for a few months before my dad sent me two jackets from home. I didn't have enough room to pack either, because I had to make sure that my suitcase didn't exceed the 50 pound limit. SUCH A PAIN IN THE BUTT. A jacket and gloves should be fine, maaaybe a hat if you've got one already. But yes, much more tolerable weather back home. WHERE I WILL BE NEXT WEEK. >3
