When tyranny takes root in a small nation, it is more awkward than anywhere else because its influence spreads to everything within a circle which is much smaller in extent. Tried that. As soon as it's simplified, someone says it's a lie, then it has to be made a little more complex to explain that it's not a lie. When that happens, invariably, another person says that the very effort to make the simplified facts more explainable somehow proves that it's falsified. And of course, the general public eats it up, enjoying the controversy for the sake of entertainment.

Hmm. Midnight and it's still 71 degrees in Saint Paul on March 19th...
