thrift for life! pretty much my goal in life. but not only are you getting sweet clothes that cost pennies, you're usually helping those less fortunate, depending where you shop, and always recycling.

yeah, i'm addicted =/

it's so much fun but so time consuming because there are so many rows of stuff to look through! ryan actually does want to thrift for life. he wants to thrift shop for all things vintage and then open a late night coffee house that he'll also sell his vintage clothes through. not such a bad idea!

i found a juicy couture shirt at a thrift store once, too! it was so hideous and ugly but because it said "juicy" on it, my step-mom loved it and i'm sure someone else would have loved it too. stupid expensive ugly clothes. juicy couture is probably the worst fashion trend. most of it is so horrendous.

i don't see too much juicy here at all, so i'll consider myself lucky. it's just crazy for people to spend regular retail prices on fashionable boho and vintage inspired clothes this season, when they can easily find better and more aunthentic pieces at any thrift store, for much less. but i suppose you're right, you need a certain level of patience. but i've become so accustomed to searching through racks, i'm pretty fast now! heh. as for your ryan's future business plans - i will definitely visit. i think it's a great idea. a few places here in winnipeg scoop up good vintage stuff and then raise the prices for their specialty shops. when you come out next, i'll show you them so you can give him some ideas.
