“Let it All Out” is a song by Relient K in their newest album, mmhmm. I chose this ballad because no matter how I act outside, I try to keep the pained emotions within myself. “Let it All Out” is a song by Relient K in their newest album, mmhmm. I chose this ballad because no matter how I act outside, I try to keep the painful emotions within myself. The tune carries out a slow and constant pace with a very calming piano background. Also very slow paced drumming adds rock flavor to the song. The melody matches the lyrics very well; it has a slow progression and is comforting. My senior year has been very eventful, yet more of a hurtful experience than an enjoyable one. Still, I believed in the end I would overcome whatever was in front of my path no matter how painful and impossible it seemed. So I did, even when I wanted to quit and take an easy way out. This song was very inspirational to me and reminded me that I must continue moving forward.
The entire song is very moving, but one particular part that moves me is “If the burden seems too much to bear: Remember, the end will justify the pain it took to get us there.” Life can be very painful. Sometimes ( ... )
