I don't see christmass magic until it's here, until santa comes in the house and gives presents to the children himself, and to the adults in the house. Everyone of the family there is simply happy, no explanations, no reasons, happyness, it might not be a fish that you can catch but it might simply be a state you can get from a lot of contact.
