My sourdough bread!

I made one a couple of days ago, using this recipe. My starter is a happy little beastie in its jar.

I did leave it in the fridge a couple of extra days because I never remembered to take it out early enough to let it come to room temperature.





It's oiled because I forgot to cover it with plastic wrap. This is what happens when you think you're familiar with a recipe. Oops.




Slashed before going into oven.




See those whitish marks? That's because I didn't cover the dough!




The bottom got extra brown because I tried using a thin aluminum sheet pan, I think. I'll have to see next time.

So. It was still tasty, and went really well with Brie.
