I have a cold.
Yep, it was mild for a couple of days, but last night my right nostril and sinus clogged up. I went to Shoppers and picked up a nose spray (on sale for $2.99!), a couple of packets of Fisherman's Friend (100 bonus Optimum points!), a couple of packets of this soft lozenge (another 100 points!), my multivitamins that were on sale, Jamieson vitamin ( Read more... ) -

Yay! The INTERNETZ BE BACK!
Using the email from my lovely husband (whom I miss and will maul soon), I got the DSL modem to work. All is good. Now, sleep. I need my sleep. Huzzah! The peasants rejoice! -
Almost have the internetz.
Almost. The Bell guy came and connected everything up. Now, we just need to get the modem rearranged so that it forgets that it wants Qwest and instead becomes a Bell machine. Yep ( Read more... ) -
Still without the Internets
Our "dry loop" DSL isn't going so well. They said it was working, but the modem doesn't say so. We've been grabbing wifi wherever we can find it. I hope we get it fixed soon.

Travelling
It's a long day. Flying in the winter is interesting. Everything is brown, but it's pretty in its own way. The bare trees look misty. The grey has shades of brown.
Travelling with a cat is quite an experience. She hates it, she's scared and she's heavy.

I bought cheap chanterelles at $4.99 a pound! They were a bit moist and somewhat dirty, but I washed them (yes, I know some people are horrified and only recommend wiping with a paper towel, but they were fine, I was going to cook them anyway ( Read more... ) -

I don't feel so great lately. I just don't feel all that energetic or enthusiastic. I'm always bad.
I don't know.
I should eat more fruit.

Yeah, again, the apologetic crouching woman. This time, it was to find a seat on an auditorium before anything was even happening. Yet her husband just walked through just as casual as ever. Damn conditioning. Be confident!
