So, the other day my ppc died. I guess it got turned on in my pocket and ran the battery completely dead. Now alt the programs I had installed are gone. At least the documents were in permanent storage, so I didn't lose any of them.

On the plus side, resetting it corected whatever was keeping it from accessing the internet.
