I think I deserve a moment to defend myself since this has been made a public spectacle for the whole world to interfere in and on top of that was based on total ignorance. Yes kid’s camp is at the far end of the event with no other camps around it.

It’s really quite simple…you don’t go to the events/camps that offer things you don’t like or don’t want to see, it doesn’t take a genius to figure it out.

yeah but with a bunch of naked freaks wandering around you can't control what you randomly see and what you don't. i don't really want to see young attractive naked men, much less gross fucking guys 40-50 years old with weight problems. i'm glad that they are so comfortable with their bodies, but i'm not comfortable with seeing their nasty hairy scrotum! it doesn't take a genius to figure out that since that's the case, it's probably not the environment for me.

i would love to go for the art and the music, if only the fat ugly hippies would put some damn clothes on!!

Apogea IS a very very kid oriented friendly event. one of the safest place for a kid, safer than school. that's what i have been trying to tell people, but no "its a hippie love fest like burning man!"

i applaud you for taking your daughter. and yes, everyone did judge and got defensive and argumentave about it before i could put in my 2 cents. no one would listen to me. i went to Apogea 2 years ago, i was amazed at how well they had their shit together for the event. the people who run Apogea run a tight ship, they do not mess around, and kids safety is high on the list.

but whatever, i have THE BEST present for the b-day grl!
