My dad's been in an accident in Gadsden, AL. All the hospital will tell me is that he's in stable condition, since I'm not there in person. So I don't know if I have to go to Gadsden or to Atlanta. Some of y'all out there know the drill...where we'll be (Daddy Bill's house), how late to call or come over (do I even have to say?) and so on and so

Doctors tend to not give out information to people present at the hospital let alone someone calling long distance. They don't want to say the wrong thing, though they almost always go with worse case scenario so they don't get sued. I am sure he's gonna be alright though. :)
