Bad News First

Last night I got a phone call from my step-mother informing me that my great-uncle had fallen though the staircase at the home they are building, and had been flown down here becasue of a brain injury. His brain is swollen, and the docs say there's been no change, which is a good thing, since that means it hasn't gotten worse
