Ikaruga (GC, 2003) : Anyone who knows me will easily know that this category is a no-brain decision for this little beauty. I had gotten my gamecube for Animal Crossing a while before I found this game snuggling behind a bunch of other titles. Tyrian 2000! An awesome sidescroller with a storyline mode with some 50 different weapons of destruction The front and rear guns are upgradeable as well as a couple hidden superweapons. The difficulty level can be really easy but there's always a higher difficulty level for those that like a challenge. The highest difficulty level (Lord Of Game Mode) which can only be unlocked makes some enemeys almost indestructible.
