the best concert ever!!
Im pretty sure you all know what this is going to be about.... thats right.. THE CONCERT!!! Boy oh boy was it fun. ok ok here I go.
Alright well Jodie came to my house around 5:15. We hung around for about 15 minutes and then I had to say goodbye to my uncle and Alison. I almost cried but I didn’t. Ok so as soon as he left I was like ok mom we're going let’s go. I grabbed my taking back Sunday cd and then we got in the car and were on our way. I was so excited. On the way there, Juliana called me. Too bad I couldn’t drive with her. My mom had already said we would drive Jodie so I couldn’t drive with her. Made me sad because it would have been fun.
Anyways... we got there and saw all these people standing in line. We hurried and got in line and then I called Juliana to see where she was. Im like ok Im in line where are you?? Shes all Im walking to the line. We tried to find each other, but no of course... she had to be on the other side where all the other people were. So once I got in Jodie and I went to the other side to meet her and Alex. Finally they came in and we were all together. We walked around for a little bit and yeah then we decided we better go in and find our seats.
Yeah Jodie and I walked in and got to our seats and I was so excited. I loved my seats. They were great. I mean they were at the perfect angle to see everything and I wasn’t far away so I could see them all really good. I didn’t expect my seats to be that good.
We sat down, and not much later, taking back sunday came out. I was sad that they went first, but they were awesome!!! Adam started singing and that was it. It was just amazing. Too bad half the people there didn’t know who they were. Oh well I did and they were great. I got hear songs from the new cd that comes out in July. You all can see what it looks like in an earlier post. Gaahh I can’t wait for the new cd now. Im so excited. You all should have seen them up there... they looked good, sounded good... they were perfect. I wish I had brought a camera because the pictures would have been sooo good.
Yeah well remember how I posted that TBS was gonna be at the atticus booth?? Well they were. As soon as they were done, they had like a mini intermission so they could set up for Cypress Hill. Jodie and I left and decided to walk around. I saw a line and I saw that it went to the Atticus booth so I was like hell no. I jumped in line. A lot of people were buying the cd for them to sign and I got scared so I went and bought it AGAIN. Turns out they had posters so that was good. I didn’t need to buy the cd. Oh well... I just gave it to Juliana since she didn’t have it. It came with a cd sampler of some other bands.. Juliana you have to bring that to me sometime next week. Yeah it has Bayside and Atreyu on it so I can finally hear what they sound like. OK ok so me and Jodie are standing in line when all of a sudden here comes TBS out of the elevator. Wow they looked so good. Then these two really desperate kids come up to us and are like hey we'll pay you 20 bucks if you let us in front of you so we were like sure. I didn’t see Juliana anywhere in the line and I was calling her like every six seconds to come out. But no she wouldn’t pick up her phone. All of a sudden I see her and Alex come running to the line and they both were like wow... haha you should have seen the looks on their faces. They didn’t see me in line so I had yell for them and then they came. Geesh I would have felt bad if they didn’t make it out. So they got in line with me and Jodie. Boy did they get lucky because if they had gone to the end of the line they wouldn’t have met them.
The line took forever to move at first. but then it started moving at a good pace. We got up there and I made Jodie go first. Then I went then Juliana and then Alex. Juliana had her camera out and omg she was soo funny. You think I shake bad... well hahaha she was shaking so much. She was so excited and it was like she couldn’t take the pictures fast enough. Adam complimented Alex on her shirt, but she didn’t hear it... the only person that heard was Juliana. It was so exciting. Juliana and I got the best posters. ; Ours are special. After that, we waited for them to go back to the elevator. Juliana took more pictures then. She was so excited hahaha wow you would have died laughing. Awww... she was so funny. It was great!!! I missed all of cypress hill... too bad!! TBS was WAY worth it.
Then it was time to buy our shirts. Juliana and I got the same one and um I think we're gonna wear them tomorrow to school. Who knows. I got a Blink shirt too. I wanted to buy more stuff, but I held myself back. I still have a good 65 dollars left.
I got scared that I was gonna miss blink so Jodie and I went back inside. Too bad when we got in, cypress hill had JUST finished. It was ok though because I wanted to sit. We waited a little bit and then all of a sudden I hear someone yelling my name and guess who it is??? Juliana!!! She was with Kayla. Wow Kayla had good seats too and she was close to me. Then Carol came and she said hi... it was funny. I don’t even know them... but they said hi. But then yeah so Blink came on FINALLY!!! Gosh I was so excited. Mark, Tom, and Travis all looked good. Every song... every song was amazing. Debora called me during the show and I couldn’t hear anything she was saying and I kept yelling trying to talk to her but it was no use. So I just let her listen to them play. Omg I almost died when they played Adams song. Wow I almost cried it was that good. I was glad that they played some old stuff too and not just all the new songs. I mean I love the new ones, but wow taking in back.. so good. They were hilarious. Like after each song when they would talk. Oh oh and Travis had this one drum solo and gosh he is so amazing. Like wow he is one of the best drummers EVER!!! Even with a broken foot he still kicks ass. After his solo they played two more songs. It was great. Then aww too bad it was over. I didn’t want it to end because it was just so much fun.
After it was over I met up with juliana one last time and yeah we took a picture but then I had to go because Jodie’s parents were there to pick us up. Wow that was the best concert ever though. Seeing TBS again was great. Seeing Blink for the first time was awesome. Wow I cant believe it took me this long to see them. I am going to warped tour this year. I have to. Adam was all like see you guys at warped tour. SO yeah I have to go. even if it just for them and coheed.
after all that fun guess what I am stuck doing today?? CHEMISTRY!!! arrggg I don’t want to but I have to. At least now like whenever I get sad or something I can think about the show and be like omg it was great. Juliana is gonna give me copies of those pictures. So its all good and then I have my signed poster. Wow I am all set and so excited and like whoa yeah. I'll be content for a while now.
