Fun! Hi!
I am a freelance literary editor in Chicago. I deal mainly with content development, rewriting, coaching. It's intriguing to me how the publishing world is changing. I'm interested to see if things like Kindle and self-publishing will change its face forever. Publishing companies sure have changed regarding what they are willing - and no longer willing - to do for their writers, that's for sure! If you'd like to know more about what I do, feel free to check out my website: www.launchpadmedia.com
I'm Elizabeth Barrette, a freelance writer and editor in central Illinois. (We used to get up to Chicagoland several times a year, but it's been a while since we could afford to do that.) I do fiction, nonfiction, and poetry in fields including speculative fiction, gender studies, alternative religions, and nature.

I've done all kinds of stuff. For a while I was running a magazine and the curriculum of an online school. I've also done content editing and proofreading on novel manuscripts, and some on nonfiction. I enjoy the coaching part of editing.
