Painting!
A good deal of the airmen in my shop play Warhammer 40,000, so I got into it too. I chose the Necrons as my army and bought a Necron Battleforce, Lord, and Wraith. I've hand painted all the models so far.
I used to paint miniatures when I was around 11 or so and I liked it. I just got back into it and I'm addicted. :p
Necron army so far. The Necron Lord and 4x Necron Destroyers aren't done being painted yet. All these are pretty much done, though I might ink them with a grey or something to add an "aged" effect.

When I finish the destroyers and the lord, I'll probably take photos of them. I plan to get more units eventually, probably next month. They were all painted with Tamiya enamel paints.
I ordered 3 Reaper miniature models (elves) for D&D representations of my characters. I plan to paint those with acrylics, since painting with enamels is actually a pain. I hear acrylic is easier to work with and I can just clear gloss or matte over them as a sealant.
I used to think 10/0 brushes were the smallest brush size, but I found 20/0 brushes today. Totally ordered 3 of them.
And my evolution through the ranks of geek continue.. :p
