First you hug the horse, then you're born. Thus that expression of the Old West, "Fuck you and the horse you rode in on."

Nice word jazz btw, a little much on the primordial slime though.

Thanks. Yeah, I left those hunks of undigested kraut in there as a buffering agent to slow down the reaction and also to lend a bit of local color. There was a medievalist German expression that went a lot like that, "fuck you and the swan you rode in on," but it never really got much traction.

Good point on how horse hugging can mangle an otherwise linear biography -- first he was dead, then he hugged a horse and oom-pah! New life! Helen has two daddies but Clytemnestra only had one!

Of course, you can always wile away the hours listening to Nietzsche’s compositional efforts.

Heh. I dunno, does this Nietzsche cat swing? If he's not danceable, they can both wait six or seven months, until the world is getting dark again, there's not much else to do and the world turns to these smokier fuels for awhile.

Until then it swan boats come swan boating time and the birds are singing in the sun. That rare bird there, hark! What says its song? Spear and magic helmet?

Die Braut gewinnt,
Brünnhilde erweckt
ein Feiger nie:
nur wer das Fürchten nicht kennt!

I think that one's been picked pretty clean myself. Past time for me to stop worrying at it!

Thanks very much for this one. lilchiva April 19 2006, 10:49:04 UTC
It seems to be very much with how I'm feeling lately and where I am going.

well, I like baseball. lilchiva April 19 2006, 14:36:45 UTC
I think it's especially fun the watch those in the minor leagues and on that account I'm quite lucky as my little metropolis has no less than three such teams.

The ball with its 108 stitches is the sun, the diamond with its four corners is the world and you can't spell "blatant" without the bat. War evolved when sex got scarce; baseball evolved when war became unpractical. Wagner when baseball season is over, and I don't know where the other degrees fit into the cycle.

Minor league is the best. Three teams! Come up and see Coney Island.

ohh, how this makes me lean back and laugh at 1 am on a school night, full of vodka and having been genially mocked for being one of the last of my line ( i have a "line?"), but you're still alive and writing stuff! every angel ist sprechen deutsche! jeder!!

hey, the killers' second single.....but not that third one with the weird gospel chorus.
