So. It's official, I've applied ro continue Computer Science (again) at Murdoch next semester. So I have to find ways to fill in my time this semester. I could do 6 days a week at Action, but I'd rather get a second job.
So...
Possible Job 1
Our Clients require the services of casual and temporary IT Support Contractors to cope with increasing workloads.
Experience in the following areas would be beneficial:
* Microsoft Office suite of applications
* Windows desktop-based operating systems especially XP, 2000 or 2003
* Remote Support
* Network configuration
* Trouble shooting
* Server configuration and administration
* MCSE qualification would be highly regarded (but not essential)
* Working without supervision as well as in a team environment
All opportunities involve considerable customer interaction, and therefore, you must possess the ability to build rapport quickly within a diverse range of working environments. You will be required to work without supervision, as well as in a team.
If you are looking for the flexibility of working when and where you choose, we want to hear from you.
All applications should be made via email and accompanied with a CV, including references. No mail copies will be considered, unless hand delivered.
I can do 6/8 of those points... I dont even know what MCSE is but a quick web search will tell me that.
*does quick web search* Oh. Microsoft Certifications. Damn, my I.T. teacher in highschool gave me the chance to do that for free (instead of paying $300 or so for each one), but I never made the time to do it. Damn damn damn.
Oh well. It says they're not essential anyway.
Possible Job 2
I could ring up my highschool IT and geography teachers, see if anyone needs tutoring. I doubt I'd earn alot of money from that, but it all adds up, and it would look pretty on my resume. I think I might have to ring him up anyway, and ask for a reference for Possible Job 1. Mmmmm.
Possible Time Filler 1
Take up some kind of sport. I really should do that, but then again I've been saying that for the last half decade or so.
Possible Time Filler 2
Get a social life.
... Or not.
Then again I could always go for some volunteer work or something, someone the other day was telling me about being a guide at some museum or something, for a couple of hours a week. Again, pretty pointless, but it gets me out of the house, off my ass, and stops granny telling me to get off my ass and get out of the house.
Which reminds me I really have to get off my ass, out of the house and meet up with luke_davey, because I'm going to be late.
