No, but he's supposed to be our leader and he hasn't shown one iota of leadership.

And at least people pissed at him are REACTING. He hasn't done shit to get in there. A "flyover" reeks of a king surveying his destroyed kingdom from afar.

Bush isn't the only reason this situation sucks, but he hasn't stepped up at all either. And we can call him out by name, not the hundreds of others who have screwed this up.

I don't think he's necessarily handled this well, either. The government has certainly been slow to react when so much is on the line. I'm not taking issue with rational discussion of the Bush administration's handling of this crisis. I just take issue at the indignant fire being lobbed his way, as generally speaking, the more angry someone is the less they are thinking with their brain.

I understand that, but people are pissed and feel useless and this is a way to blow off steam. That doesn't mean there isn't any rationale to it, is all.

And I think the indignant fire is WELL deserved right now. Any person who is hired to take care of the country should do that. He's failing at his job more than ever right now and it's destroying the morale of more than a few people...and the slowness and lack of leadership is allowing countless more to be killed or starve to death.

It's reactionary because someone needs to react.

I agree with you about 100%. I think half the people I read here blame Bush for their syphilis. I think people who hate him acting like such total fucktards is probably what swung him the election.

One problem with blaming Bush for everything is it causes this blanket of noise from which no good point can come. There are many legitimate criticisms to make against the president, but they're difficult to make when Bush is reduced to the level of a cartoonish villian.
