i've always found your thoughts on god and the like very interesting-- and they always made a hell of a lot of sense to me... more than what i'd grown up being told to believe, that's for sure.
though i never knew you thought of god as female. cool. why is that, out of curiosity?
i tend to think of god in male terms, because that's how i was brought up, but i've wondered at times. some things seem too pretty for a guy's taste =P (lol). more asexual in my mind anymore, i suppose.

I don't really believe true altruism exists. In the end, even the best of us are getting something out of doing good for other people. Even if it's just that satisfaction at treating people with respect and seeing other people happy.

Though, I think the world would be a far better place if everyone wanted to be good to themselves and to each other, for the sole reward that if everyone is happy the world is a better place. We know we have this world.

I think God would cry at what has been done in his name.
