After a long and arduous journey I arrive here in Sacramento in a café where I had to climb up on the windowsill (precarious!!) in order to plug in my computer. The oldness of Sacramento amazes me sometimes. It is right on the edge of old and new. But the crem de la creme...the leopard print bedspread with red silk pillows edged in red feathers! My oh my. Only beat by the red heart shaped bed we stayed in beneath mirrors pre-my 6 am flight out of JFK. >>

OH MY -- hahaha. That's pretty funny. Here's a silly request from a silly Fran -- I love to read your incredibly well-written updates, but my eyes are going cross-eyed from the lack of paragraphing. I figure maybe your posts are looking different on your home computer, with double-spacing, than they are once transferred into the single-spaced LJ format. So, just a few paragraphs would help the Phranling's eyes.

I wonder if there are any cafes in Mill Valley with conveniently-placed outlet plugs where we could go to write together sometime?? Are you still on tour?

Ok, thank you for the request! I shall endevor to do so. I am still on tour, down south in LA. Thus far, yes, I have written every day, and am going along at my pace of five pages a day on this ol story. I'll be home at the end of January and I would love to toodle along to a cafe and write with you!
