Who: Llyud and OPEN! What: There's a sleeping man with red wings! Do you bother? When: Mid-morning Where: Somewhere with lots of trees, so I suppose the park? Warnings: None~
Kohaku had been exploring. It was what he always did these days. Actually there was not much to do, apart from it. Seeing the stranger, Kohaku stepped closer. He had already seen two persons with animal-ears, but this was... worse. He had never seen such wings before. Standing in front of the other man, he took his time to investigate until it became boring.
"Hey!", he finally said rather loudly. Because just watching strangers wasn't intresting enough.
Bad idea, Kohaku. Llyud is a born fighter and trained to react to the slightest sounds or movements. Of course, his senses are dulled since he was so tired, so he only wakes up when he hears Kohaku shout "Hey!"
Still, bad move.
In a instant, he awakens, grabs his spear, jumps up, and thrusts it towards the other, stopping just before his neck. He glares at the other, guard up, wings spread, and ready to fight.
Tch. Kohaku is a trained fighter as well. But he knows when better not to move, when something sharp is pointed at his throat. Still, in a silent almost unnoticable movements some knifes make their way into his hands.
"Hey, hey, hey. Not that I'd be opposed to fighting, but isn't this a little rude! I haven't done anything to you", he asked sounding rather annoyed. Having a weaponless fight with strangers... sure, always. But usage of weapons was a different things. Especially as he was dealing with someone with unknown powers.
Llyud stays in this position, evaluating the situation to see if it was safe. The young man said that he didn't want to fight, but he still couldn't help but keep his guard up (don't think he didn't see those knives). He withdraws his spear, still holding it close by.
"I apologize," He says, taking a quick look around his surroundings. This... doesn't look like the sky island he had settled on. And the other aegyl are nowhere to be seen... where is he?
Inuyasha happened to be in the area to go sit on his favorite tree like usual, but /someone/ was on that tree. The same exact tree he was asleep on when he first got to Salkia. Not that it was a big deal, so he wouldn't get mad about it.
"Taking my tree ... tch. Hey you!"
He just noticed the wings surprisingly enough. Inuyasha wondered if this guy was some kind of bird demon.
Sorry, man. He didn't know that this was your tree. He didn't even know that he was against a tree at all, though he subconsciously noted the change in texture from a rockface.
Llyud awakens instantly at Inuyasha's call, grabbing his spear and pointing it to the dog demon. Were he a normal person and not a warrior, he'd probably just wake up, staring at you.
Inuyasha wasn't happy with a spear pointing at him. Did this guy know who he is? Okay probably not ... but not a person you'd want to point a spear at.
"What? You asking for a fight?"
He partially draws his blade as a warning. Yeah, it looks a bit dingy. But you'd be surprised what it looks like if he pulls it all the way out.
Llyud tightens his grip on the spear, not too happy seeing the blade, however pathetic it looks. He wasn't too happy about this man sneaking up on him, either. Really, he was having such a nice nap.
Of course, seeing this stranger from out of nowhere warrants a question: "Who are you?"
Morning meant time to go to work, which is why this morning found Kisara walking through the park on her way to Going Green. Actually, she was early, but she liked taking walks around the island; there was so much to see! Even the places she had already seen during her stay on Salkia were a delight to her, and she often stopped to stare at the trees. She had been told that their leaves would start to fall off when winter came, so she was watching for that. She was doing that today, too, when she spotted something ─ or rather, someone ─ new among the leaves
( ... )
Almost instantly after Kisara called out to him, Llyud woke up, opening his eyes and lifting his head in a manner that showed that he probably wasn't asleep after all. Better be thankful that you are a quiet girl Kisara; had you called out to him any louder, you would've had a spear to your face.
Llyud blinked in questioning. A hume? What was a hume doing here? He was sure that there were no intelligent species on the sky island; he made sure of that during patrol the night before. Then he noted her white hair... humes didn't have hair that white, as far as he knew. He remembered that Fran and the other viera had white hair. Could she be a viera? But if she was, where were her ears?
He stayed silent and unmoving, analyzing the situation. She seemed frail, but she could probably still fight. IF she did attempt to attack him, his spear was only an arm's length away. He probably wouldn't be able to fly too far since his wings were so tired, but he could still fight.
She's very thankful! She was a bit unnerved by how quickly she got his attention, so if she saw he had a weapon, that would have only made things worse. That he wasn't attacking reassured her, though, and she spoke again. "Who are you?"
She seemed a little afraid, so he was doubtful that she would try to attack him... though he had known beings that would attack out of fear. Which was why his guard was still up and why his arm was ready to reach the spear currently laying on the ground.
"Llyud. Who are you?" he asks, bluntly. Normally he wouldn't be so rude but he hasn't seen another hume for days, and he was positive the island he landed on was uninhabited.

Sleeping for a full night had been... A difficult thing to attain ever since he woke up here, on this island of madness and constant change. It was mostly out of fear. What if he were to close his eyes and simply fade away into nothingness? What if he went to sleep, only to not wake up again? Masada was alive again, able to be with her and as whole a person as he had ever been (in fact, he felt better than he had in years), but there was no guarantee that this would last
( ... )
As careful and quiet as Masada was being, there was no doubt that somewhere along the way, Llyud heard him approach. The awareness was subconscious so he hadn't made a move yet until he heard the silent call. He shifted a little, feeling his spear bump into his leg from the movement-good, it was still there-before rousing himself
( ... )
Masada was, truth to be told, quite unnerved by how easily he caught the other's attention. The sheer nervousness he felt (though his natural shyness played a part in this as well) brought a flush to his cheeks. Being met like this, with silence, really did throw him off what little emotional balance he usually held and he was at a bit of a loss at what to do. That, and just what did the blank stare mean? How was he supposed to read someone so... Different
( ... )
A frown appeared at the man's question. 'Can he speak'? Of course he could speak; hadn't this man seen an aegyl before? Why was he speaking so softly, anyways? Was he shy? It seemed apparent since the man intended to get some distance between them. Was he intending to run away as well?
Llyud almost felt badly at how the man was reacting from his stare. It softened a little, before he remembered that this man appeared out of nowhere on a-now seemingly-uninhabited island; his gaze hardened again.
To answer his question, he decided to ask a question in return... it was rude to do such a thing, but it was enough to answer him.
"Are you here to harm me?" A useless question to ask, he thought. The man could've been plotting a strategy to down him once Llyud's guard was down. He could easily lie to him, tell him that he meant no harm then backstab him... yet the curiosity outweighed the caution. The man seemed pathetic, at most, and he had to make sure that it wasn't just a fluke.
