Hikari was a bit worried about attending the party, but nothing bad could happen right? Besides, she had never been to a New Year's party before. But before she went inside she thought she should wait for Ken first. Or maybe another friend. She didn't want to wander in there alone.

There was some shifting near her. Some very awkward shifting. Ken was standing off to the side, letting the darkness shield him and the outfit he had been given. There was no reason to just ask for punishment, really. Ken didn't really want to risk it. But did he really have to wear something so short?!

The short skirt (which would be familiar to Hikari or anyone else from his world, really) wasn't going much to keep the cold out. Or shield him, for that matter. Maybe Hikari wouldn't see if he just sneaked in with the crowd..

When Hikari stepped through the doors, her outfit changed into that out...a suit with a pink bow tie. Great, the Island had a sense of humor for tonight. She let out a sigh before trying to scan the crowd for Ken.

She thought she saw him but....was he going further into the crowd? While she would've liked to call his name, the music was too loud for her to even think clearly.

So what does any other girl do? She goes after her boyfriend, of course!

Soujiro stood at the edge trying not to get anybody's attention. Reasonable, since he wore a different yukata than his usual one. Holding a glass in one hand he tried to make the yukata fit like a normal one would.

Oh, but B is good at seeing things and people that shouldn't be seen.
So... Have Beyond rushing over to you. And rushing was the right expression, because this was just a perfect dress for it.
Drama effect? B has it.

When he saw Beyond's dress Soujiro was tempted to make a comment about it... but obviously there was no point in that.
And since it would've been even more embarrassing because it seemed like he'd fail anyway he stopped trying to fix his yukata.

ON THE FLOOR

Beside the DJ booth, there is a New Years Ball just waiting to be dropped on you all, colors pulsing brightly and appropriately with the current playing song. The floor always seems crowded, for some reason. Aren't you wondering where all these people have come from...?

There aren't this many people here in Salkia.

Cissnei was only halfway surprised to find herself suddenly in a suit, white with blue EL wire running though it to brighten and accentuate her movements. It's almost disconcerting, but after everything Kia had done to them in almost two years, unsurprising.

Cissnei has little success in pushing though the crowd, so finally she relents and moves with it instead to get where she needs to go. This was not her only goal - perhaps some of these people would be able to give her information that other residents have not.

It was worth a shot.

... At least it's wasn't human clothing. It wasn't so different from his usual clothes anyway. It just had a skirt and looked a bit girly in general.
But it was something girls from his planet would wear.

Kisshu wasn't sure wether to feel ashamed or amused. He decided to decide about that later and focussed on his surroundings, feeling a bit exited. It was a bit like Prom Night again.

Though he didn't get what exactly was celebrated this time.

Preston wandered the floor, feeling slightly ridiculous in the ballroom dress that he was wearing which showed off his various muscles and hair legs as well as his partially unshaven face. If anything he found the image slightly creepy and wished to look. If it was up to him then Preston would have just torn the thing off and burned it. But as it stood it was fairly cold outside to be running around in his undies.

Usagi was a bit wary of heading inside the Town Hall, but it was either go in or face punishment. Going in couldn't be too bad...right? So summoning up her courage she went inside, finding her clothes to be transformed from nice, warm clothing...o a suit.

Well...this wasn't the strangest thing she's worn, but she wished the outfit came with an overcoat. She didn't want to be cold when the new year started!

Yuugi was a bit wary as well, because... well, for one, he was with Usagi, and two? Who knew what embarrassing thing Kia had planned for them tonight!

And then he stepped inside. And he legitimately wanted to crawl under a rock and hide.

Who even wears this much white? At least his collar was still there, and the leather pieces he wore on his wrist, but still.. as soon as he realized it, he blushed profusely and tried to cover himself up with his arms.

"H-Hey! Wh-What..?!"

Usagi had to do a double take when Yuugi's outfit...changed.

She was caught between shock, awe, ....and laughter. What in the world was he doing in her dress?

"Yuugi-kun.." she teased slightly, taking her suit jacket off to drape around his shoulders.

"Didn't know you liked my princess dress that much."

"Th-This is.." Oh god, it was Usagi's dress. What was he doing in her dress? This prompted him to blush further, though surprisingly enough, since he was one of the most anorexic people ever in his home world, he fit in the dress surprisingly well.

Sob. Hopefully Kaiba wasn't here to see this. Or Jounouchi. He'd never live this down.

"...I-I didn't think I'd.. well..." He didn't even know what to say. What were words anymore. He did murmur a 'thanks' when she gave him her jacket, though.

Despite the fact all of your clothes may of changed, Kia's has not. Well, unless you count a white glowing dress out of the norm for your little tyrant ruler of a girl.

Right now she's standing beside the DJ booth, observing with a small smile on her face. They would love this...right?

He stops and stares at her as his eye twitched a little. Why was she the only one properly dressed? "I think you got the clothes mixed up. Fix it now."

"But Preston! You look so cute!" She giggled, hand to her mouth to stop from laughing at him alright. Okay, maybe not, but it was still pretty hilarious to see him like that.

"...No, no I don't." He doesn't care if she's joking or not he wants to be in proper clothes. Now. This was starting to become very uncomfortable at the moment.
