Who: Everyone What: Second Game! When: Thursday morning. Where: Across the good olde' Warnings: Will be noted as necessary. Don't forget which team you are on!
Oh got da** it all ... he got paired up with the one person who made him feel like an actual dog ... he's still scarred by the paper bags ... he can't even look at one without twitching.
Running? Okay, running he could do, but no soccer player was really the fastest runner out there. Ken wasn't even as good as he used to be. And Yuugi...well, Ken had never seen him do much of anything outside. It wasn't exactly the best situation. But he had to try.
"Let's go, Yuugi!" he said with a nod, trying out his best Daisuke impression. The other boy was always much better at motiviating people than he was.
For whatever confidence Ken was trying to show, Yuugi himself had none. Still, despite his own doubts on wanting to leave the island (if Jou and Atem were going to be left behind, there was no point) he knew that Ken wanted to leave, and for that he will do his best!
Even if... his athletic skills were zero. All he could do was hope that he didn't land on his face.
Every single person (who..well, wasn't a jerk) was probably wondering the same thing as these two. Ken just didn't want to fail his partner. It was hard to say how much the older boy wanted to go home, so he would do his best. The only problem came from physical ability. They were a bit shorter than most of the other competitors.
Ken just worked his legs as well as he could, all while keeping an eye on his partner. God help them if someone tripped.
Atem is just sitting on a bench somewhere. He's not really making an effort to look too interested, wearing the same distant expression as he'd had on the LP. But he's there.

Yet he was here, with full intention of not even really trying.
