so a drama of the summer has been me trying to buy a house. a condo. property. i recently let go of a place because it didn't feel right. ( i digress )
I didn't think it was too cryptic. It was a good decision, I think. you'll find the one that feels right. and on your "cryptic" note. I'm much the same way. I try to trust my instinct. though I still don't always, myself. and when I decide on something, I want it immediately. I want that instant gratification. :)
well, there is that. I did have some inside knowledge. ;) and yes, I agree. lucky soul. :)
I was mistaken. she doesn't have a barn. but, she does have a nice house and some good property. there were thunderstorms. So, there were less people than expected. But, it was probably a good thing. Easier to spend time with folk. Some bands played initially in the practice space in her basement. And, eventually, as the rain died off, we moved the bands out to the platform outside the garage. There was a tent over it. And, had the bands face the garage instead of out to the field. That worked out. It was great getting to see her and she was happy to see me, too. Yay. One of her bands played a reunion set after they'd broken up about 10 years earlier. Seeing them play made my week. I always loved seeing them play. It was nice to see them, too. Hopefully, we'll keep in touch a little better now. We'll see. She's also hoping to do this every year.

Making choices on your own can be hard. And empowering. And really teaches you who you are and what you want.
