What an odd time it is. Earlier this evening, I drove home through torrential rains (did I mention I've been nursing a broken heart for a few weeks? Just to give some perspective...), and lightning struck right near my car as I carreened through flood-puddles...the electricity discharged into me within my car, and it was the strangest sensation. i thought i was someone who kept up on things, on people... but it seems i've become very self-involved. i haven't really touched lj since my last post, and have therefore missed a great deal...

i'm sorry to hear that you're in a currently unpleasant headspace, particularly after things seemed to be going so spectacularly when i last saw you...

on the upside, there's birds.

sidenote: i went to the Green room for the first time and met the infamous Ben... amusing.
