To Whom It May Concern,

I have some thoughts to share on some people that I love.

In no particular order:

Daddy: Well, you certainly are one of the most influential persons in my life. And definitely one of the most inspiring people I've ever known. What I like most is our long walks together, and getting all philosophical on things like improvisation, the cosmos, God, origins of civilizations and thought, etc. You could work on your humor skills - but you still make me laugh more than most others anyways. After the long walks I like when you play and sing just for me. The memories I have of that have changed the course of my life more than any other single thing. You are an excellent boss, a fun friend, and the BEST dad ever. I love ya!

Annie: Wow, where to begin? You have to be my closest girl friend ever, we are like sisters. I love the way you show me the world through your eyes. You have been there for me through the toughest years of my life, and you have even been my last friend standing. This means the world to me. I trust you completely. The hardest laughing and the sweetest tears have been when we are together. I love our country drives, and our soulful singing. You have inspired me to do so much. I always want to change myself for the better - just to begin to even up to how amazing you are, and what I love the most, is how I will never, ever get there. I love your honesty, integrity, beauty, thoughts, emotions, charisma and style. I want to be more like you and spend more time together. I love you and miss your beautiful face more than you'll ever know.

T.Rex Killa:Our friendship began and spanned some of the most soul-shaking, mind boggling, life changing years I've ever experienced, and we've remained friends through it all. Even if we did have our rough patches and disagreements, we made it through those too. I love it when you look like a turtle. I love how the cosmos seems to center around us like the eye of a hurricane. We make the best food I've ever tasted. (but it only works when we cook together, for some annoying reason, why can't I have good food all the time?) I like the way you play drums, but especially when you get into it and take risks. I like being vagabonds and tramps - and hey, we'll always have Churchville.

Tara: Tara-tara-bo-bara-banana-fana-fo-fara-TARA! I remember when we met I was about 14ish. Seems like forever ago. I always thought you were the most beautiful, perfect girl I'd ever met - aren't we glad I got over that one ;) My favorite memory of you is when you, Kate, Rae, and Rach, and I were all outside on your deck cutting my braids off under a full moon. That was the coolest "sisterhood" moment ever. Camping was fun too. I love the welcome smile, the witty repartee` and the awesome hospitality that you always have ready. You are a wonder, that's for sure and I am glad that we are still friends. Merry Christmas!

"Drea: Drea, oh Drea... you are such a beautiful, wise, funny, sweet, loving, friendly person. You have blessed me just by being yourself so many times. Thanks for all your uplifting comments and you interesting view on life. I like the way you help me to see things differently than I normally do. I like your style, wit and graceful ironic tone. I am so glad that we got to meet, and I hope that we'll get to hangout sometime (maybe over break!?) Keep it real, sista-friend. :)

That about says it. In other news, I shampooed my car the other day - and man is she sweet now. And for those of you who are intellectually challenged, no, I didn't use herbal essences, I used a carpet shampooer. Sillies. And I will be able to drive her around and enjoy her clean interior after friday when the front passenger side lights get fixed up. I really want to do some serious hanging out with people over break - so if you feel the need for some sally mae, just let me know. we'll work something out.

I MISS ANNIE, LIKE WOAH!

<3,
Sally Mae
