Today I picked up my long-awaited (and very expensive, at close to $90.00 including postage) copy of Geoffrey Trease's last book, "Cloak for a Spy". It is a slim paperback of the 1997 title, which seems to be almost as rare as hens' teeth. Oddly, the book published by this author three years before, "Bring Out the Banners" is relatively easy to

Congratulations on your find! I can't share your enthusiasm for Trease but know how it feels to get something you really want.

Scarcity is a strange issue, isn't it? I've seen Song for a Tattered Flag and White Nights of St Petersburg in charity (op) shops but never Cloak for a Spy.

I just don't have anything to say now.
