Ode to a Trefoil

As a former Brownie, Girl Scout cookies are a source of sweet nostalgia for me.  Remembering the days of my elementary school youth, and the Thursday nights spent in a church basement singing songs, doing crafts, etc.  It was a most enjoyable time of my life.  All of these memories come back, just with one taste of that delicious Girl Scout cookie.

Thin Mints Rule!
notice their name didnt change? only one...
i do like Trefoils though.
I wish i had been in your Girl Scout Troupe with Scarlet's mom. My memories of Girl Scouts aren't nearly as fun as yours.
The only things I really remember are getting yelled at by Rachel Ferguson's mom (remember her, we had her as a sub a couple times in high school, and she was awful...) and singing that "let the circle be unbroken" song.
Exciting stuff.

But anyway, this post lifted my spirits quite a bit because it made me remember that I have THREE boxes of Girl Scout cookies waiting for me at home.
If you're nice to me this weekend, maybe I'll share :)

Thin Mints didn't change because their name was never fun to begin with. And yeah, Scarlett's mom was the best troop leader ever. And we didn't see Let the Circle Be Unbroken, we were all about "Make new friends but keep the old, one is silver and the other gold" Cute, yes, but try singing it over and over in the Norwood Day parade. It's enough to drive a girl crazy.

Perhaps you are correct, as the only verse I know is the one I already stated. I've never heard it referred to as let the circle be unbroken, and I tried to Google it, and saw no versions of the make new friends song that including anything about letting the circle be unbroken, but you obviously know what song you're talking about.
