You crack me up!webelaffinMay 13 2004, 22:13:19 UTC
I'm not sure who you are, maybe I've met you. I'm Mistress Frisky's mom. I clicked on your awesome pixi picture, and it brought me to your postings. I only read the one open in front of my eyes, I didn't nose thru them.
I just want to know what's wrong with a guy named Buttercup? I'll have you know Jade's pappaw has been dubbed Buttercup, and he wears the name proudly b/c it came from Jade! LOL!!! I love BOTH your reasons for Buttercup too, as Princess Bride is one of my faves.
However....I also love Milo....b/c Cameron Manheim named her son Milo. Know how she decided it? She took her list of names to the bottom of her steps, and yelled them out one by one. She picked the one that was easiest and most fun to yell, knowing she'd be doing that for the next 18 years!
However....Squishy is awesome! It kinds makes you wince, as you picture someone squishing the kitty between their hands!
You rock as well.....nice meeting you, or maybe seeing you again, depending on who you are.

HI!!
No, we have not had the pleasure of meeting, although it is nice to have contact with you! The beautiful Mistress and I met in Orlando in '94 when I moved there and she went back and became friends... be proud! You have a great daughter!
Nothing's wrong with a guy named Buttercup, I just had this whole image attached to it that simply couldn't be fulfilled by a little boy. It really wasn't the specific name so much... and it's a good thing too, because he is turning into quite the rough and tumble little boy! And I do have to agree, yelling it across the house (or my office, he comes to work with me... bc of those pesky feedings) has become a habit... The hubby has pretty much given up on Squishy, he has actually called him Milo, or Smushington (c/o another friend), but usually just calls him Big Guy or Little Man....
Let me know if you ever make it down to South Florida.... I'd love to meet you!
