I just knocked my phone off my desk and it turned off... Now it won't turn back on... FUCK! I needed it live another 6 months!!! I can't buy a new one yet! I haven't even started to research which I will be getting and I don't start my new job until Monday! CRAP ( Read more... )

It's a Sidekick - You can't remove the battery. It's internal.

Ummmm maybe I will ask Drew to do that. 10 steps to remove a battery? I am not about to undertake that myself... I don't even own screwdrivers small enough for that.

I don't think the Treo would be compatible as-is, but some digging on the net could probably find a way to unlock it so that it could be used, if necessary.

I have a Sidekick LX that I'm planning on finally getting around to putting on eBay in the next week or two. I'm guessing the $250-300 or so I figure on getting for it is out of your price range, especially if RevJohn or Axo can hook you up in the meantime, but thought I'd mention it to you first, just in case.

Yeah I was needing it to hold on for another 6 months or so until I get moved and my new job gets rolling (haven't even started yet!). But thank you soooo much for the offer! I will let you know if anything changes with the 'borrow teh phone' plan!

Wowz! I am getting a wealth of options here! Maybe I should borrow the Blackberry to see how I like that style?

Drew and I were looking at phones last night and browsing the Shadow the Wing and the Dash. He wants to go buy me a phone this weekend since he gets paid Friday. I told him I should borrow one until we move into whatever place we find, save that money for the deposit fund for now. But I could use this time to try out yer Blackberry eh?

Who gets this sort of chance!? Brilliant!
