Concert review

The Greg Brown concert last night was lousy. What a bummer! First off, it was a bait and switch: the first half of the concert was his daughter, Pieta Brown, and I'm sorry, but the 45 minutes of her set were boring. True. I was reminded of a post by shunn about a concert wherein the performer (why am I thinking Fiona Apple? Some young woman singer-songwriter type, anyway) had a meltdown because her monitor malfunctioned? Tears, storming off the stage, refusing to finish the concert...

Throughout last night's concert, Greg Brown was completely professional. He even played in the dark for a while, and was laughing about the tech crews crawling around the front of the stage, and trying to clue in the sound board guys.
