We are having a much better time. Myself, I tied a bell to my hair so I can jingle all day long. Can they do that in Texas? I think not!

In Texas, you could be arrested for doing that.

I'm at work too! Drinking my first cup of coffee! Man, is it bitter.

Although at this point, I'm just hoping we make it to WisCon next year; our moving plans are still up in the air, so it might happen before that. Which would suck, because I can't imagine us being able to go very often from now on.

Oh, man! Now I'm feeling even more bitter! No WisCon would suck so incredibly much.

My coffee, however, is nice and sweet. It's a blonde with sand, as I learned yesterday from chrisdolley.

I just woke up! Do they do that in Texas?

Well, yes...

Hm. I'll have to get back to you on this whole "better than Texas" thing. Especially since I need to go to work...

Yeah, they wake up in Texas, but probably when they feel like it.

Oh yeah! Right now, I'm getting ready to meet with a student about scholarships! And later I'm giving a presentation to 100 people about the wonders of the Honors Program!

I may have to have another cup of coffee just to come down from all the excitement.

[Also, that didn't take long, you getting to work. Traffic not too bad?]

I'm off to the kindermines, where the kids are tough and only take one-minute naps.

To prepare, I am first downing a vat of coffee, because NO ONE can enter the kindermines unprepared.

And woo! Maybe I'll get dressed next.

This sounds like way too much excitement.

So are the kids on coffee, too?

Luckily, no. Because otherwise?

The horror!

And that would be the wrong con.

Heh.

My six-year-old is a tea drinker. He has a little teapot and cup and saucer and has a few cups before school. Sets him up real well for his busy day wrangling teachers.

I have a whole bunch of bitchin' shaolin activity scheduled for tomorrow, so I don't think I'll be very bitter then.

But today? Today?? TODAY??? OH I AM SO VERY BITTER!!!!!!!

Except for lunchtime. Meeting a friend for lunch, so I'll be a little less bitter then.

But after lunch? After??? AFTER?????

Yes, I have had coffee, oh, yes I have!!!!

(You would like me less without my coffee, I guarantee.)

Oh, here's a fun thing I'm doing today: Filling out a long, tedious online application for the teaching job I've been slaving at since September! Yay!
