One of my best friends changed her name from Sarah to Sally a few years ago. She said "Sally" was a more accurate representation of her and her inner child. I still haven't stopped calling her Sarah, though. Maybe if you both change, it'll be easier...

I should just send you a copy of the book myself -- it would get there faster! :-D

I can't gloat about the weather. It's a really cold 58 here today--everyone has on their winter jackets and scarves, and we have 30mph winds! Pity us!

That 'hee hee hee' made me laugh! Gloater!

Amazon says it's been shipped--days ago! So it really should be here soon. Really, truly.

I can't be Sally allatime because "SallyP" is just too much eeeee.

Oh! I just realized that you might not have been gloating about the 53 degree weather (which sounds rather balmy) but about that other thing.

So yeah:

hee hee!

HA! It is bone-dry here (as compared to yesterday when it rained long and hard) and we have had no sleet or snow or freezing rain all of which was promised.

On the other hand it is 42 degrees colder than it was yesterday.

Tomorrow night! UI versus Iowa State, women's hoops. You wanna come to the game with me? I got tickets!

That would be awesome. Except for the five hour round-trip thing.

Iowa City needs a teleportation station.

We have a teleportation station. But it's closed due to bad weather. Rats!

Gonna be fun tomorrow night. Iowa packs the house when the cardinal cyclone thingy comes to town.

Ack! My mother-in-law is a Sarah/Sally and this caused a bit of confusion, such as on my first visit to her family's house during Thanksgiving 17 years ago when I leaned over and whispered to Stacey, "How many names does your mother have?"

Just use a simple, single name like, "Xerox," or "Zeppelin," or "Limosnear."

Oh, the Sally thing is just a pet name. John's the only one who calls me Sally.

Except on LJ.
