Thanks to jennreese, I have a new website. It's at sarah-prineas.comIf you've got a minute, would you mind looking it over and telling me what you think

Looks great! I love the "Sarah Prineas is ..." copy. It's fun and gives the reader a real sense of your writing. I do think you should mention your upcoming novels on the first page.
You think a link, maybe, to a description of each of the books (to the extent that I know what happens in each of the books)? I like that main page text, too, and I'm not sure how to work in a mention of the novels...
I did, however, work in the aposiopesis, which makes me happy.
Oh, finally my internet is back up to speed again. It's been slower than honey on a cold day tonight. You guys get lots of snow? We got about five inches, which is why my back hurts at the moment.
I know! This is an artifact of the google page creator site. I can't shrink down that header at all.
Something to work on. I like doing this in stages, starting simple and manageable and then working my way toward something cooler and more dynamic, but still relatively simple (I don't like visual clutter).
It might be nice to have the links remain stable so that if you click on NOVELS, you don't have to click back to "home" before selecting the next thing you'd like to see.
I would, if I were designing it, alter teh design so the top bar is centered, without ellipses, and a bit shorter. I would add a strip between the top bar and the main frame, and put the links on that frame (probably in cream color on a dark green background).
I would make the center box bigger so it takes up more of the page, and add some color to the main box to draw it out a little more (possibly switch the background cream and the foreground crean? The rounded corners on the subsections of the main box are nice, subtle. The biggest problem I have is the white bard underneard the main box, I guess because the background is tiling? It draws the eye down away from the things we're supposed to be looking at. Actually, if the background faded from lighter to darker (like it's starting to do at the top), it would draw attention to the brighter bit, where the box is.

Yup, I'm going to fix this. Thanks!
The problem with the rest of the stuff is that the google page creator gives just one format, and I can't change it--so, like changing colors, or box sizes. It's all pre-set. At some point I'll make a new site that I can mess with a bit more.
Oh, and I HAVE to have the ellipses--the aposiopesis!

On the other hand, as you say, it's just a place holder.
Hell, I just like it that you've got one again!
