Did you realize that Tarzan of the Apes ends in Wisconsin? And that Tarzan doesn't get Jane at the end? He swings through the trees (in the forests of Wisconsin) to save Jane from a forest fire, but Jane's betrothed to John Clayton. He could reveal that he's Lord Greystoke and have Jane for his own, but he doesn't because he's the Noble Savage

Hurray for Haydn sonatas! And wow for Maud being focused enough already to voluntarily sit through a whole piano recital at the university - it took me until I was in my late teens before I could concentrate long enough to really enjoy sitting through complete classical music concerts.

And I love the idea of Tarzan swinging through those Wisconsin forests...I'll be thinking of that in Madison this year! :)

But bah to the earache and sinus infection. I'm so sorry. Keep on popping those antibiotics!

I'd been holding off on the antibiotics, but I've got a scrip and am getting them today. Sick of being sick!!

We had a lovely time at the concert. I offered Maud the chance to leave at the intermission, but she wanted to stay.
