I recently took a trip up to Northern Queensland to visit family. read on if you would like to view lol images of Dean in shorts.
So, first off we arrive in Townsville to visit my Mother's sister (my aunty), her two kids (my cousins) and her husband (my uncle). We took a trip down to 'The Strand' once we got there. The Strand is the main strip of the esplanade in Townsville. There are stinger nets and other things so people can swim (not my bag).
anywho..
These three are a sort of series. There was a fkn annoying swing that made me ;__;
Following this, we went to get some fish and chips and a sit down

Then we drove up a big hill. apparently it's only 20 metres short of being officially recognised as a mountain so ppl try to build rocks up a few feet each year. There is more to this story but i can't remember. The family (exluding my Aunty, my Mum and I) went to the top of the hill while we waited on the main plateau sort of thing. They took this pic:

After a few days in t'Ville we rented a hire car and drove to Innisfail to see summore of my fam. On the way we stopped at some sort of point that is of some significance. I was very upset for some reason around this time so i took no notice. You can probs see my angry-ness in this pik. My brother and my grumpy faces truly compliment Mama's smile imo.
So after a few hours drive we got to Innisfail (after stopping at this truly magnificant place known as 'Frosty Mango' that serves this sort of Mango Gelati/Icecream treat. It was marvellous). In Innisfail we stayed with one of my Dad's brothers and his fam.

That night we had a bit of a family gathering/BBQ/Xmas Party. It was pretty darn happening (in the sense that there was some truly tantilising marinated steak and i mashed some avo and had it on top. DELICIOUS!)

The next day we drove up to cairns. It was pretty much crap. I don't really like Cairns, at all. Below is a picture of me walking hastily along the Cairns esplanade looking for something nice for Breakfast.
Possibly the following day (or maybe the day following that) we has an expedition to the Innisfail crocodile farm. I made friends with the biggest Croc there. His name was Gregory. He was v. big and the reason he was captured was becuase he ate lieeekkk 50 cattle or sumfink. anyways:

On the last night in Innisfail the family went to a Thai restaurant. I has assumed it was going to be horrendous however it did not live up the expectations and was actually exquisite. I had Prawn and vegetable stir-fry with lemongrass. The head chef apparently used to cook for the Thai royal family. Us:
The next day we packed and drove up to Cairns to fly home. Plane was delayed 2 hours. it was shit. Now i am home.
