So. Four years ago I said I'd write a publishable work. But though I started working on one, it never was finished. I have left many fanfics unfinished, both publicly and anonymously. I've posted sporadically - which is nothing new but has grown quite a bit worse - and only published a few one-shot fanfics now and again without updating my

Despite the best of my intentions, I haven't gotten too far. I have been doing more writing, but mostly one shots. Though I did get through a new chapter of The Price for Loving You.

I did go out for a weekend with my sister, but it actually ended up making me feel worse. She had friends she hung around with, while I spent most of the weekend alone when we didn't have plans together. I had fun during the weekend, but I also got frustrated as I wanted someone to talk to besides random people I stood in line with. I'm great at talking to random people because of my job. I'm just not good at taking that anywhere further. I'm a bit torn over the whole thing right now.

I'm only social when need be, but my natural state is usually a quiet corner (my PC) to read and listen to my music. *heh* But getting out is good too. I think in my honest opinion, you've been trying very hard and the only thing left is to 'go with the flow' so to speak. I am not wise or experienced in a lot of ways so all I can offer is my sincere support to you. I'm cheering you on in all your endeavors.

I just read your latest chapter and did a mental jig of joy in my head. ^.^V I like your stories, I'll be waiting here for them however long it takes you. You're an awesome story teller. Hm, I do have to ask, have you ever tried joining like a local writer's group? Being social can also include doing things you also enjoy. :)

I'm glad you like the latest chapter. I'm excited to write the ending quarter of the story. We're close to the grand climax. I just have to decide whether to stick to a certain character making a final appearance as was my original plan or change it.

I was at a convention, which is something I definitely enjoy. It's just less enjoyable when you feel kinda like a third wheel.

I have thought about writing groups, but not all are fanfic friendly, and there's only really one in my area. It's meeting time is pretty much a timeslot I always work too. So that got ixnayed pretty quick.
