I made an appointment today to get my wisdom teeth taken out. I don't understand why they can't just be yanked out after a numb-shot like normal teeth. i know how you feel. i went to the dentist yesterday and he said that as soon as the bottom ones come in i'll probably get them pulled. which means... less than 6 months or so.
GAH for the ruined-ness of ice cream.

I will tell you now dear that you will not want to eat anything for the first full day after a vicious mouth invasion with cutting. I wish you the best in a speedy and non-abscessed (like Elena!) recovery.
