Happy Birthday! I hope you had a good one--at least didn't come down with the illness infecting your family.

The young earth creationists are a type of fundamentalist I truly don't get. I can see the folks who believe in evolution but think that God was behind it all and the book of Genesis is not literally true. I don't share their beliefs, but I get that they are trying to have science and religion play together. The biblical literalists though...all they have is their faith and their stubbornness. As a skeptical person, I am completely bewildered by them.
