Its early they where going to air it in mid Oct.
But its good got most people in it that should be.

we will see what the other places I am working do and how they cover the subject.

This came out really good.

They didnt mention Deb at all though, or show any of her interview...

I thought that was super odd since shes the one who put it all together for us and MTV to show up at for their pics and sound bites...

That's how it goes.
They interviewed about 60 people for this peace, from both events and all over.
Took about 15 hours worth of footage, set up live video feed interviews with people in LA and it all got boiled down to that.
They left allot of people out but the important bit like the URL for the con is there and that will help for next year and cement the con as "The con" so its all around good.a ad URL link on MTVs site alone is pricey so to get that for free with there steampunk converge is really really good for her project.
For ever they can put "Salon con as seen on MTV and in read of in the NY Times" That is pretty spiffy and good.
I have worked on many articles for many different things and it still amazes and frustrates me often what they jump at and what they leave its really a crap shoot.This is why I tell people to never get hyper when they get interviewed by anything as you never know what there going to pick so only talk about it after its in print or on air.
