Salons Needed for SalonCon 2009

We are currently accepting applications for hour long salons. Competition will be particularly tough this year as we have a limited amount of spots available. If the response is great enough, we will select a few alternates (in the event that one of our saloncon leaders is unable to make it, we would like you to fill in

Do you think there would be much interest in a salon on cryptography, in particular the ciphers used in the 1700's and 1800's? Or possibly on desktop fabrication and rapid prototyping?

I find that the more obscure the subject is, the more interest there is so yes :)
