I was once again in an argument with my OH who was foaming at the mouth that feminists have tried to get offensive shows off the air. I pointed out that although the first amendment is important, there is no balance because empowering programs dont make the airwaves (only faux feminism like The View..puke) while The Man Show gets instant play and makes fun of women with eating disorders while girls in tight bikinis bounce on trampolines.
Im having a real I hate everything day and really just want to stab something next time I hear the "poor widdle menz" argument.
Also Im apparently "brainwashed" by the Womens Studies department. Drink the kool-aide Jeni! Drink it!!!!

Women's Studies exposes the unjustified power men have in society; you have to be dumber than a box of rocks to not see how men dominate all major institutions and how cultural narratives are almost exclusively told from the male perspective. I just don't get why equality and human rights are so easily dismissed as unimportant or crazy.
I would argue that "The Man Show" is unnecessary as almost every show is a man's show. It's like they have to beat us over our heads with the masculinity ego stick or something.
