Well, the Luncheon was actually kinda neat. It was a bunch of ladies from a few different apostolic pentecostal churches in town getting together and having dinner. Today is a day off spent almost entirely in North Pole again. I get one outing later this evening for an inter-church "Women's Luncheon" that I was kinda pressured into going to. What exactly is a Women's Luncheon and what the heck do you do at them? I have a feeling I will forever be baffled by churches, no matter how involved I get.

Don't you hate it when it finally does snow and everyone slides around for the first couple of days learning or re-learning how to drive on ice? Some days I wish my job didn't involve me driving between North Pole and Fairbanks so much. Oh well. At least I'm feeling better physically. My eye is no longer itchy! Yay! I'm free again! At least for a few days. I'm almost over this stupid cold, except for a lingering cough. Is it just me or are we getting some major plague action in Fairbanks this year? My throat is normal again! I still have the energy level of a slug, but at least I can eat food without pain. Anyways, I am still working, le sigh. I work Friday, but am coming into town for a night of fun, as I do have Saturday off. Then it's back to my normal schedule of Sunday through Wednesday, though I do get next Tuesday off. Whee!
