My driving a stick shift is like riding a horse

Not that I've ever been on a horse. Over the past two weekends, something clicked and I was able to drive the stick shift car around calm roads. I drove it up to Jenkintown and back, drove it to Yardley, and drove home from Fairmount Park today. I'm pretty excited about being able to get around by car, though I can't say I like driving.
